Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • Is the removable backcountry strap on the Via Carbon also a breakaway strap? Will it detach if the pole or basket gets caught on something while I'm wearing the strap? (I wear my pole straps Nordic style) Thanks.

Hey! The straps are meant to make it quick and easy to be removed by the user, when skiing in avalanche terrain. The feature is not designed as a breakaway safety feature in case of a snag.
